a joint artwork featuring a repurposed necklace piece made by my aunty Maria Teresa "Tere" Martirena in Minas, Uruguay. Tere's piece uses reclaimed fabric remnants, safety pins and various glass and wooden beads. I have blanket stitched around this and coiled and crocheted various yarns including paper covered wire, wool, metallic and acrylic.
