Paula do Prado's textile artwork Almas Gemelas/Twin Souls continues to tour Australian regional galleries as part of the Tamworth Textile Triennial
The exhibition is currently showing at Stanthorpe Regional Art Gallery Queensland (www.srag.org.au) until the end of February 2013 and it will then travel to the Manly Art Gallery & Museum in NSW.

City of Hobart Art Prize
Paula do Prado has been selected as a finalist in the 2012 City of Hobart Art Prize in the Fibre category. Her work "The Ibeji: Sacred Brothers" (detail pictured left) will be exhibited as part of 35 artists selected in the Paint & Fibre themed prize. The exhibition runs from 6 October till 11 November at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery.

Uncommon Threads at Manly Q Station
A one day exhibition as part of Q Station Community Open Day and NSW History Week exploring textiles as a contemporary art medium. Exhibiting artists include: Gillian Christie, Paula do Prado, Cathie Edlington, Alex Falkiner, Anthea Fitzgerald, Brook Morgan and Belinda Von Megersen. Feminage: The logic of feminist collage, Cross Art Projects
Paula do Prado's latest work 'Sepiasiren' examining the black female body has been included in the group exhibition Feminage: The logic of feminist collage. The exhibition officially opens on Saturday 4 August 2012 at 3pm, Cross Art Projects, Kings Cross Sydney.
Includes works by Karla Dickens, Elizabeth Gower, Emily Hunt, Mehwish Iqbal, Deborah Kelly, Fiona MacDonald, Sangeeta Sandrasegar, Sally Smart, Tai Snaith, Nancy Spero and Jemima Wyman
